Designer Peony Screensaver and Wallpaper from Vivienne Tam, KB likes it!

Here is a really pretty print to use as wallpaper on your computer. It's from fashion designer Vivienne Tam and is included in the"fashion goes tech" marketing campaign for this cool new girlie HP laptop. I downloaded the wall paper and screen saver for one of my computers last week.  I've been enjoying them. Later I tried to come back to the download for the cute little fashion icons. It was hard to find this again! I felt like I was going around in circles- hp, glam, tech-chic... On the article header you have to click the picture of the laptop computer to see the download. A great tool for parent groups, KB likes this Google docs!

Whenever I find something that makes my life easier I get happy.  Here is a nice solution for any work you need to share with a group.  It's called Google documents.  Let me explain how it is helping me and the group I am involved with.  This year I'm getting more involved with the Dance Booster group at the Marin School of the Arts high school. It's a parent group to support the dance program.  We do events, field trips, and you know- lots of fund raising.  There is a lot to coordinate.  Google docs helps us coordinate in real time, on line!  I post all the meeting minutes, volunteer sign up sheets and other documents on the Google site.  I invite others as collaborators so they can share the info, update it, print it, and re-use it for next year. I'm getting great feedback from our Dance Booster members!  We are able to work more productively as a team.  Everyone can get the updated info on line rather than waiting for one person to update and send multiple emails. Google docs is free and all you need is email addresses to use it.  You should try it for your group.  Find it on top of the Google page, using the more drop-down list.  If you end up liking it please leave me a comment! Our beautiful adopted puppy, KB's new companion!

What is more beautiful than giving a dog a home?  I think it's one of the best things that can happen to a puppy or dog especially as we have been planning this for awhile.  Our family first met "Jill" at the Marin Humane Society just 3 days ago.  We just went through the adoption process today.  It's a great program.  Here's a link to find out more about it.  We were very lucky to have met Jill, a 10 month old terrier and lab mixed puppy.  At the shelter she seemed timid and shy.  But once she came home and saw our backyard all that great puppy energy just came out!  I tried to get a picture of her cuteness but she is quick.  Here's a nice shot ...and there will be plenty more.  We are thinking about a special new name for her too. So happy!
