KB thinks Kate Winslet does not deserve Worst Dressed list.

I am huge fan of Kate Winslet so I'm thrilled she won the Oscar on Sunday night.  Watching the Academy Awards is always a great way to catch glimpses of some very elegant people.  I thought it was a successful show.  I really like the international feeling this year. Another habit of mine is to watch the news about the best and worst dressed stars the day after the awards.  I was surprised to see Kate Winslet on the worst dressed list!  I really did not mind the dress. I think the dress matches the back drop of the stage perfectly. I saw Revolutionary Road and thought her acting was amazing. If you are a Kate Winslet fan you really should see it.  Although it was a hard one to watch because of the desperation.  Now I'll have to see the Reader too! 

Happy Valentines day, KB wraps hearts for valentines and has a tip!

I hope everyone has a Happy Day.  And if you don't have another person to call your Valentine, then be nice to yourself.  I found these heart shaped tins at the dollar store. They are filled with special earrings, gift cards, and rose and lavender scented bath petals.  Let me tell you- it is not easy to wrap ribbon around a heart shaped box!  So if you are planning to do this- here's a tip.  The pink heart I got lucky and somehow managed to wrap the ribbon as if it were a square package. The ribbon just slips around on those curved sides.  So my tip is- forget wrapping the ribbon around the heart.  On the red box I simply wrapped it around the lid- once, cross-wise. Then added the curls.  So when the lid comes off the ribbon will come off too.  But it saved my sanity.  Happy Valentines Day!
