I really like this photo of angels from an East Room in the White House. I love looking at their faces and the detail in the feathers on their wings. I like to reflect on the idea of watching out for others. This is a good time to practice being nice to people. Lately everywhere I go there is a holiday bustle, full parking lots, long lines, hurried energy …but people do appreciate a smile, a gesture and a reminder to be happy. It’s true, I am always the optimist. When I see angels I am reminded of certain things- my niece, the ballet, and John Travolta as an angel named Michael.

And by the way I found an interesting place this year in Sebastopol, The Elixir Café. The tasting room is right next to the place where we make our annual Christmas apple stop. When we stopped at Twin Hill Ranch for apple bread, apple juice, apple butter and all other apple things I had to check out the vibrational healing elixirs they were sampling at the Elixir café. I tasted one called Bliss. It tastes like fruit juice and lavender. I have to say they were very interesting and this would make a fun outing for a group of girl friends. It’s a very comfortable place with pleasing floral scents and an elixir tasting bar. And I was hooked on the Angelic Mists once I tried them. I felt like I was being sprayed by a sea breeze at the beach. The products are hard to describe because they should be experienced first hand. I would definitely recommend a visit here if you happen to be in the neighborhood.
