The famous talking tree, makes everyone happy

Newport Beach, Balboa July 2008 a great get away!

We had a great time in Newport Beach.  It was great weather and not so smokey as Nor Cal.  We are definitely going back to this spot!  There is so much to do here- pool, beach, arcade, shopping and my favorite- people watching is excellent here!

Fathers Day at the Italian Street Painting Festival was Fun!

Everyone was being nice.  Our friends played in the Italian band Bella Ciao and we saw some amazing chalk art. Be sure to check out the photo album too!

Great to see Catherine's promotion ceremony today

It was great to see the promotion ceremony today.  She's done with elementary school! It was a beautiful sunny day with lots of hugs.  Good luck to the future gen.  Grandpa Peter and Grandma Susan were there too!  This girl deserves some chocolate!

Dance Performances coming up!

Here are some dates to set aside:

1. MSA Soiree  March 21 7pm.  Hip hop number.
2. Novato High School Fashion Show, April 18th.
3. MSA Spring Extravaganza- Friday and Sat May 2 and 3 at 7:30pm, Sunday May 4, 3pm. This is the BIG one, you don't want to miss!
4. Novato School of Dance- Dancers showcase, Saturday May 17, 2 shows, 1:30 pm and 6:30 pm.  You won't want to miss her solo performance!
5. MSA student showcase- St Vincents in Novato, an outdoor evening event and fundraiser.
6. San Francisco Carnaval Parade- Sunday May 25th, starts at 9:30 am!

I love this movie, this song and Bono, the egg man walrus. I love the scene after this song where you can't understand a word he says- Right on! Check out Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds featuring the Edge too!
